Simply disconnect the turntable from your usual preamp, attach it to the iVinyl, plug the iVinyl's USB lead into your PC, load the software onto the PC and off you go.

I found the instructions useless as I don't understand the technical jargon, but I managed to set it up to match my Ortofon VM cartridge OK using the "min" setting. It didn't seem to matter which of the three pF settings I used, so I still don't know what pF is.
